Markaz ke Wazir ke ohde ki
halaf ki tehriir:—
Form of oath of office for a Minister for the
Union:—
“Mae, A.B., Khuda ki qasam
leta hu/ pukhta aehad leta hu ke mae Aain e Hind par sachcha aetemaad rakhunga
aur osse wafaadaar rahunga jaesa ke qaanuunan mutayyin kiya gaya hae, aur Mae
Hind ki khud-mukhtaari aur saalmiyat ki tasdeeq karunga, aur Mae Markaz ke
Waziir ki haesiyat se apne faraaez imaandaari aur ba-zamiiri taur par ada
karunga aur mae khauf ya pasand, mohabbat ya nafrat ke baghaer tamaam iqsaam ki
awaam ke saath Aain aur qaanuun ke mutaabiq haq ka ma’amla karunga."
“I, A. B., do swear in the name of God/ solemnly
affirm that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India
as by law established, that I will uphold the sovereignty and integrity of
India, that I will faithfully and conscientiously discharge my duties as a
Minister for the Union and that I will do right to all manner of people in
accordance with the Constitution and the law, without fear or favour, affection
or ill-will.”

Form of oath of secrecy for a Minister for the
Union:—
“Mae, A.B. Khuda ki qasam
leta hu/ pukhta aehad leta hu ke aesa ma’amla, jise mere madde nazar ke liye
laaya gaya ho ya Markaz ke Wazir ki haesiyat se mujhe ooski ma’alumaat di gayi ho, to Mae
kisi shakhs ya ahkhaas ko aese ma’amle ki ma’alumaat ya ooska khulaasa khule ya
khufiya taur par nahi karunga siwaaye tab jab ke aesa karna oos mutalliq mere aese Waziir hone ki haesiyat se mere faraaez ki adaayegi ke liye zaruri hoga.”
“I, A.B., do swear in the name of God/ solemnly
affirm that I will not directly or indirectly communicate or reveal to any
person or persons any matter which shall be brought under my consideration or
shall become known to me as a Minister for the Union except as may be required
for the due discharge of my duties as such Minister.”

Qaumi Majlis ke intekhaab ke
liye ummidwaari ki halaf ya aehad ki tehriir:—
Form of oath or affirmation to be made by a
candidate for election to Parliament:—
“Mae, A. B., Shura e
Riyaasaat (ya Aewaan e Awaam) ke ek rukn ke ohde ka khaali maqaam bharne ke
liye ek ummidwaar ki haesiyat se khud ke mukarrar kiye jaane par Khuda ki qasam
leta hu/ pukhta aehad leta hu ke Mae Aain e Hind par sachcha aetemaad rakhunga aur
osse wafaadaar rahunga jaesa ke qaanuunan mutayyin kiya gaya hae, aur Mae Hind
ki khud-mukhtaari aur saalmiyat ki tasdeeq karunga.”
“I, A.B., having been nominated as a candidate
to fill a seat in the Council of States (or the House of the People) do swear
in the name of God/ solemnly affirm that I will bear true faith and allegiance
to the Constitution of India as by law established and that I will uphold the
sovereignty and integrity of India.”

Member of Parliament:—

I am about to enter.”

Form of oath or affirmation to be made by the Judges of the
Supreme Court and the Comptroller and Auditor-General of India:—
“Mae, A.B., Hind ki Adaalat e Uzma ke Qaazi e Aazam (ya ek
Qaazi) (ya
Hind ke Qaumi Naazim o Muhaasib) ki haesiyat se khud ke muntakhib (ya mukarrar) kiye jaane par Khuda ki
qasam leta hu/ pukhta aehed leta hu ke Mae Aain e Hind par sachcha aetemaad
rakhunga aur osse wafaadaar rahunga jaesa ke qaanuunan mutayyin kiya gaya hae,
aur Mae Hind ki khud-mukhtaari aur saalmiyat ki tasdeeq karunga, aur Mae mere ohde
ke faraaez ki takmiil hasbe dastuur aur imaandaari aur meri behtariin
salaahiyat, ilm aur aql ke saath karunga aur Mae mere ohde ke faraaez ki
takmiil khauf ya pasand, mohabbat ya nafrat ke baghaer karunga aur Mae Aain aur
qawaaniin ki tasdeeq karunga.”
“I, A.B., having been appointed Chief Justice (or a Judge)
of the Supreme Court of India (or Comptroller and Auditor-General of India) do
swear in the name of God that I will bear true faith and solemnly affirm faith
and allegiance to the Constitution of India as by law established, that I will
uphold the sovereignty and integrity of India, that I will duly and faithfully
and to the best of my ability, knowledge and judgment perform the duties of my
office without fear or favour, affection or ill-will and that I will uphold the
Constitution and the laws.”
